Description of Services

AI work with families that are struggling with out of control kids and whom are feeling hopeless and don’t know what to do. I am here to help support you in identifying and implementing techniques that bring control and joy back to your family. We will work together to develop a plan that will work with your family. You will find support for yourself and learn techniques how not to argue with your kids and still get them to do what you want them to do and get your kids working toward positive goals. Services I offer are:

• Individual Coaching We will meet in person or on the phone for as many times as necessary until you are comfortable that the challenge has been handled.

• Small Groups Support Groups for parents and teens.

• Classes Parenting classes specifically dealing with defiant, strong-willed kids.

Bio

Two and a half years ago after successfully raising a beautiful daughter, my dog, Buster and I moved to Sammamish, WA. My greatest achievement has been seeing my daughter turn into a fantastic, successful young woman. I have always loved kids and my home was always the home where my daughter's friends hung out and felt comfortable at. After my daughter completed high school I went back and got my Masters in Counseling Education. Since then I have been working with challenged teens and their parents. This is where my passion lies.

My experience includes leading support groups for both teens and parents. I have taught parenting classes, anger management classes, single parenting classes and life skill classes for both kids and adults. I also have counseled teens and parents.
